Definition of personal data

The EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO), which entered into force in May 2018, defines personal data as follows:

All information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the “data subject”); a natural person is considered identifiable if he or she can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier or to one or more specific characteristics, the expression of the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of that person.

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is only collected if you provide it on your initiative, for example, to carry out a contract, a survey, a competition or to register for personalised services. There you will be informed about the intended processing purpose and, if necessary, asked for your consent to the storage.

The personal data collected within the scope of our web pages will only be used without your consent for order processing or processing of your enquiries and will be passed on to the responsible group company if necessary. Also, your data can be used based on your consent in a centrally managed customer and prospect database managed under the responsibility of Successful by Design. The use of this data is restricted to advertising and market and opinion research purposes and is exclusively possible for Successful by Design within Switzerland. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Your data is encrypted before transmission and processing to protect it from unauthorized access. Please note that unencrypted e-mails are not transmitted in an access-protected manner.

Your data will not be sold, rented or made available to third parties in any way other than as described here. Personal data will only be transmitted to state institutions and authorities within the framework of mandatory national legal provisions. Our employees, agencies and dealers are bound by us to strictest confidentiality.

You can contact us via our e-mail address or the Contact Form. Of course, we will only use the transmitted personal data for the purpose for which you provide it to us when contacting us.

If we request information via our contact form that is not required for contacting us, we have always indicated this as optional. This information will help us to clarify your enquiry and improve the handling of your request. This information is provided voluntarily and with your consent. If this information relates to communication channels (e. g. e-mail address, telephone number), you further agree that we may also contact you via this communication channel to answer your request.
